Power2Go 9 is a free software suite that will allow you to burn CDs, DVDs, and even Blu-ray Discs. This is the perfect solution for backing up your data and creating copies or backups of your favorite CDs or movies. Power2Go 9 Essential is completely free to use and never expires. This free copy allows you to burn your data (pictures, songs, videos, etc) onto any disc of your choosing.

Interface:

The interface of Power2Go 9 is very easy to use. There are clearly marked icons that will help guide you to whatever you're trying to do. From the main menu, you can select the type of disc you're trying to create (data, audio, video, pictures, system recovery, or even just copy a disc) or you can choose what you'd like to do with a disc (erase, convert the file type, rip songs, and more).

Features:

The features of Power2Go 9 are incredibly useful especially since it comes with a 15 day trial of the premium version. With the premium trial, you will be able to download any pictures or videos that you would like from major social networking and sharing sites like Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr and more. Those pictures and videos can be downloaded directly to your hard drive or burned directly onto a disc. Once you have burned a CD or DVD, you will be able to catalog and search the contents of them in the Disc manager. The ability to create a system recovery disc can be a life saver; if your PC ever fails and you need to essentially wipe it and start from scratch, a system recovery disc can restore your computer to a previous state and prevent you from having to reinstall and setup everything again.

Performance:

The performance of Power2Go 9 leaves very little to be desired. It is fast, easy to use, the menus are very simplistic, and it just plain works. You can add encryption to your discs to keep your data safe, create interactive photo galleries, drag and drop the files you would like to burn and much more. You can even copy CDs and non-copyright protected DVDs and Blu-rays.

Overall Power2Go 9 is a great piece of software that is incredibly dynamic and provides an easy to use solution for backing up your data or creating CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays. It should be noted that a lot of the functionality of this software disappears after the 15 day trial ends. A majority of the options are only available with the premium version and you will need to pay to get access to these features after your trial ends.
